<p>

Extend Roof Lifespan: Regular inspections and maintenance can significantly extend the life of your roof.
Identify Storm Damage: Even seemingly minor storms can cause hidden damage to your roof.

Worry-Free Living: Knowing your roof is in good condition provides a sense of security for you and your family.
01
Ground Level Inspection
We begin by thoroughly examining your roof from the ground, taking detailed photos of every corner and each elevation of your home.
We assess the condition of your soffit venting, gutters (including gutter attachments), and siding.
We evaluate the accessibility of your property, including driveway access, ensuring we can safely and efficiently perform our work.

02
Ladder Inspection
From the ladder, we carefully inspect the lower portions of your roofing system.
We count the number of roof layers and check for sealing along the drip edge.
We inspect the overlap of roofing material and the drip edge, 1/4″ – 3/8″ is what manufacturers recommend.
We verify the installation of drip edge, starter, fascia, and soffit.

03
Roof Level Inspection
Then we conduct a detailed inspection of the roofing surface.
We meticulously examine flashing around chimneys, vents, and skylights for any signs of damage or leaks.
We assess the condition of current venting and the number of penetrations.
We confirm roof pitches and look for dips or soft spots that may indicate failing sheathing or structural issues.

04
Attic Inspection
Once we move inside your attic, we gain valuable insights into the overall health of your roofing system. Primarily, we’re looking to see if your house is “breathing” properly, which is essential for preventing moisture buildup and ice dams.
During this process, we look for signs of failing sheathing or structural issues that may not be visible from the exterior. At the same time, we verify that your soffit venting is open and functioning as intended to ensure consistent airflow.
Furthermore, we assess the functionality of your exhaust venting to confirm it’s moving air out of your home efficiently. Ultimately, we gather any additional information that may be relevant to the condition of your roof, so that we can provide you with a truly complete picture of your home’s protection.

05
Documentation
At Mountain Roofing, we believe in complete transparency. That’s why we meticulously document every aspect of our roof inspections with videos and detailed photographs. In doing so, we’re not just inspecting your roof; we’re creating a visual record that brings your roof’s condition directly to you.
Once the inspection is complete, we’ll review a detailed report that includes clear evidence of our findings. Furthermore, our documentation captures your roof from various angles and perspectives, ultimately ensuring you have a complete understanding of its condition.

06
Review and Consultation
We’ll review these visuals with you during your estimate review, which provides a clear and comprehensive understanding of your roof’s condition. During this time, we’ll walk you through the report, explaining any issues we’ve identified with clear, easy-to-understand explanations.
Furthermore, if we find any storm damage or other issues that require repairs, our documentation can be invaluable when filing insurance claims. Ultimately, we want you to have all the information you need to make the best decision for your home.
