Dan was referred to me another contractor i needed for new siding. Dan himself personally came to provide me a quote. Others I had tried couldn't be bothered. He was honest and sincere and I knew I was in good hands. His crew completed the work in less than 2 days. My old roof failed within 7 years because the contractor cut corners. Dan did not. He went above and beyond to ensure it will last 20 years. He gets 10 stars in my book. I'd highly recommend him to anyone who needs roof work. Money well spent!😁😁👍👍

Last December, our roof was damaged during the terrible windstorm we had here in Butte. We had these guys out for an estimate to look at the small area that needed replacement (just a few appeared to be upended). I can't remember the guy's name (Dan?) but he insisted that he wouldn't be able to find the same shingles and said we needed to call our insurance company and have the entire roof replaced. Our deductible is 15K, so that wasn't likely. We left it open and he said he'd get us an estimate, which he never did yet they got in touch a few weeks ago about moving forward. We instead found out a friend specializes in roofing and had him over. He took one look at the shingles and knew they were from Triple-S, luckily Mead still carried them. $50 for a box of shingles and a fair rate for their time and our roof is repaired perfectly without the very high price tag these guys insisted on. Needless to say we're not impressed by their tactics.

The team at Mountain Roofing is great to work with. The office staff was able to get me a quote quickly and gave me honest feed back on what products to select without trying to sell me more expensive products I didn't need. The crew that installed our roof was very good to work with too. They worked around the weather and got us roofed before it was to cold. The workmanship was amazing and fast. We had a very bad wind storm and Dan came to our house just to check up on it without me calling them. They really care about their work and the relationships the have with their customers. I would highly recommend for a quality roof job.

After the intense high winds last week knocked some shingles off our roof, my husband reached out to Mountain Roofing to get it checked before winter sets in. Dan promptly contacted us and asked if they could come a day earlier than our original scheduled date, since they were already in the area, super accommodating! Dan arrived with his wife, and both were incredibly friendly and professional. Dan thoroughly inspected the roof, reassured us there was no damage, and confirmed everything looked solid. He even fixed a couple of minor areas on the spot at no charge. The entire process was quick, hassle-free, and honest. Dan and his wife were knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and genuinely caring. With this wind storm of December 17th, I lost a large number of shingles off of my roof. Mountain Roofing came out immediately and tarped my roof so that I didnt have more damage than there already was. Of course the repairs will come this Spring. What an exceptional experience! We knew our house needed a new roof, but we weren't sure who to reach out to. After a Google search for a "reputable and well-rated roofing company" returned Mountain Roofing, and I read through a number of their 5-star reviews, we gave them a call. I think Dan (the owner) was at our house that afternoon! He conducted a thorough assessment and then clearly outlined the cost and timeline for completion. We were shown samples of different shingle types, and I appreciated that Dan did not push us toward the most expensive option.
From start to finish, our experience was outstanding. Dan's team was able to tear off the roof and replace it with the new shingles in a day. My uncle actually oversaw the activity (since we were out of town) and he appreciated that they were more than willing to answer his questions.
I'd also like to point out that after they finished, they sent us a handwritten thank-you note letting us know how much they appreciated our business. Dan even came back once we were back in Butte to make sure all was well. The personal touchpoints and service truly set this company apart.
I know people rely on honest reviews to make their decisions about who to call, and all I can say is that our experience was absolutely a 5-star one. Dan and his team of professionals are truly committed to providing the best service possible, and they 100% delivered on that promise.

Dan & Alli, (owners), Anthony (project manager), Nino (crew foreman) & John Hall, our go to guy on our new roof project were awesome people to work with. They all paid attention to detail & answered all of our questions in a timely fashion. A special shout out to John Hall as he seen us through the entirety of this job. From 7:00 am to 8:00 am the old roof was removed & the new roof installed & completed by 3:00 the same day. The clean up was great! We were amazed at their workmanship, professional attitude & kindness.

No one wants to be told that they need a new roof. I do have to say that Dan and Emily and the crew made it as painless as possible. The crew showed up promptly at 7 am and by 6 pm the roof was complete (and beautiful) and the crew was busy cleaning up all of the nails and trimmings. I am grateful to have been educated about the need for good ventilation and have hope of more comfortable temperatures in the house next summer. I would definitely recommend Mountain Roofing to anyone needing a new roof.

I really appreciated the time Dan spent showing me what was going on with my roof and explaining why and how it needed to be fixed. He kept me informed of progress throughout the process. The whole job was done in one day except for some small details and it looks beautiful. His crew did a super job of cleaning things up after the roof was done. The Mountain Roofing crew totally replaced my roof today (8/15). They were here early and at 1.5 hours had the roof completely stripped of the old shingles. By 1 pm the job was completed and they started the clean up process. Went through my yard and the adjoining yard to pickup debris. They then went over the whole area with magnets to get the loose nails. This crew went out of their way to do a complete job. The foreman was fun to talk with and listen to any question that I had during the process. If you want a great job pick- Mountain Roofing crew! Ben Bouley

We had a long-overdue new roof installation done on our house and detached garage , located in Butte. We used this as an opportunity to correct a number of issues that existed when we moved in many years ago. Examples include poor venting, poor water drainage around our chimney, and others. Mountain Roofing was very responsive upon initial contact, unlike other contractors we attempted to contact. Communication was excellent. The job was postponed a couple of times due to the typical May weather in Butte (rain/snow), but the job was done in one day with excellent quality. The cost was as quoted and we are quite happy.

Thank you Mountain Roofing! For anyone looking for a company to make sure your roofing needs are taken care of, these are the folks you need to contact! I called Alli on a Friday morning to request an inspection on my 20 year old roof as well as a quote on replacement if necessary. She informed me that one of their agents may still be in the Dillon area, told me she would check and call back to let me know. She called back in less than 10 minutes and let me know that their agent could be at my house in a couple of hours if that was convenient for me.
Jake showed up in just under a couple of hours and let me know exactly what would involved in the inspection. Jake spent the better part of an hour completing the detailed inspection which included pictures of all critical areas. After inspection, Jake gave me a summary of everything he looked for, including gutters, ventilation, flashing, ridges as well as the tiles. He let me know that I didn’t need to worry about roof replacement for at least 5 years or longer.
Jake let me know the complimentary inspection was no charge and they’d be glad to inspect again when I deemed necessary. They later sent me a 5 page document detailing my roof, gutters, flashing, etc. complete with pictures for my files.

Our entire process with Mountain Roofing has been fantastic. We've tried to get our roof damage replaced for several years with several other local firms but with no success. We contacted Mountain Roofing and within a few days we got an on-site visit, a quote and a date to start the replacement. Back in the day, I was a carpenter and worked for a roofing company, so I know what's important on a roof and Dan had all of those covered. The roof was done in one day and it looks perfect. We highly recommend Mountain Roofing.

This team did such a great job for us on our house and garage roof. It was a battle with the insurance but they were there to assist. This was definitely a better experience than our last roofer. I never heard of whirlybirds until I met with Mountain Roofing. It is very important for the life of your roof to have proper ventilation and some roofers don't take that into account and simply do not care (read the fine print). They did such a great job that I am having them inspect my other new roof to make sure I have proper ventilation. I forgot to mention, they did both roofs in one day! They also followed up on the permit and had the city inspect before they closed the permit. We are vey impressed with Mountain Roofing and will refer them anytime we can.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Mountain Roofing. From the start, it was clear that their primary focus is on maximizing profits at the expense of their customers and employees. The markups on materials are outrageous—90%! This kind of pricing is not only unfair but also unethical. It’s evident that they prioritize financial gain over providing quality service and products.
Furthermore, their treatment of employees is appalling. They exploit their workers, taking commissions from their salespeople, which is both demoralizing and unjust. This company seems to have no regard for the well-being of their staff, which is reflected in the poor service and lack of professionalism. The majority of their reviews come from an employee who no longer works there, and they also do not have their sale people send review links to dissatisfied customers so that they can stack the reviews in their favor- Do not be fooled.
Overall, Mountain Roofing is a company that cheats its customers and mistreats its employees. They are only out for financial gain and have no interest in building lasting, positive relationships with their clients. I strongly advise against doing business with them. Save yourself the frustration and find a company that values integrity and customer satisfaction and will give you fair pricing.

It’s hard to find folks who have a great and honest work ethic. John came out to do a FREE and same day estimate and we found that my attic had several other issues I’ve been trying get to the bottom of for YEARS. He helped get other contractors to finally show up and made sure they actually listened! A contractor ended up giving me an “easy way out” and John educated me and told that wasn’t the right way. He made sure my family was taken care of. I can’t thank him enough for helping this exhausted Mom finally get answers. John is amazing!!!

I contacted Mountain Roofing to get a quote on a flat roofed area of my home that is used as a deck, after water damage due to material failure. There was nothing straightforward about the job, and John was methodical in his measuring, photo documentation, and his consideration of options for me. Unfortunately, he felt that my solutions might be better found working with a general contractor due to the nature of the connecting structures, the type of materials needed for a deck/roof and my intended use of the area. He was efficient in his response time, professional in his discussions of alternatives, and I left with an impression of a company with integrity and experience driven knowledge. He followed up with referrals, which I'd requested, and I feel confident they'll work out. It's increasingly difficult to find anyone in the building industry that has this level of respect for my time and my building needs.

Our roof isn't straight forward, includes 2 garages, and it's over 4000 sq ft, they removed old roof and put on new roof, cleaned up and were completely done in 1 DAY! Literally from 7am-5pm. The Mountain Roofing team provided professional great looking results. Hassle free estimates, worked with my insurance adjuster to ensure all details were covered and no surprises. They completed our roof in ONE day, and they did a great job with clean up. Their roofing crew was by incredible! Dan stopped by the next day to inspect their work and covered any follow up questions that we may have had. Our roof looks so much better than when we bought the house!

From our first meeting with John, to the last nail being removed from my dad's lawn, we had nothing but a TERRIFIC experience with Mountain Roofing. The communication was outstanding and the whole job went exactly as expected, and beyond! In just 8 hours, 2 layers of old roofing was removed, new vents and flashing were installed, the roof was replaced and the yard was cleaned up. Except for the beautiful new roof and a little noise, we never would have known a roofing crew was here. Yes, it was more expensive than we expected but then again, pricing has gone up on everything. My dad is 96 so we wanted to make this as easy as possible. John and his team delivered a painless, fast, easy experience with superior craftsmanship and we are beyond happy with the job.
