No — and here’s the honest explanation for why, because we think you deserve to understand it rather than just hear the answer.

We price your project based on exactly what your roof needs. That sometimes means we’re estimating a portion of a material — say, 1.35 boxes of nails — but we have to order 2 full boxes from our supplier. We over-order intentionally so our crew never slows down waiting on a supply run. The overage is a cost of doing the job right, not a windfall.

The most common request we get is to leave a spare bundle of shingles for future repairs. We understand the thinking, but we actually recommend against it. Shingles — even stored in a garage or protected space — lose their sealant over time. A bundle sitting in storage for a year or two isn’t going to perform the way a fresh bundle will when you need it. If something comes up down the road, call us. That’s a better outcome than a repair done with compromised materials.

We can leave materials if you specifically request it, but it’s not something we recommend or do by default.
